Welcome Message
The Veterinary Students Association (VSA) has witnessed tremendous growth since its inception in the 80’s with only a handful of members, the vision has never died and there has always been step to step development in the core values of the VSA. With determination and focus, the VSA has always worked towards the welfare of its members who are veterinary students. The continued increase in the intake of students has also contributed to the growth of VSA. For instance, in the recent years , the intake has increased up to 150 students.
Being the only institutin offering Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine, we expect further increase in the intake although the facilities pose a challenge.
The fact that VSA plays a critical role in career development and creating links to its members cannot be overemphasized. We have been able to build a bridge between the students and the employers through various events like Career days and Field days where we invite various employers to interact with the students.
We have also worked and will continue working closely with the International Veterinary Students Association to create more opportunities for student exchange programs
Our Vision is to have amn association which will be recognized worldwide as being a player in improved livestock production and addressing food security. We are currently in the process of looking for partners who will make us realize our dream
Long Live VSA
