History

Introduction
Agribusiness management exposes students to concepts in agribusinesses, management and theories and functions of management.  Students are also trained to acquire skills in production and operations systems in Agribusiness management, marketing, managing human resources and financial management in Agribusiness.  The programme is quantitative in areas of economics, quantitative methods, statistics, operation research, macro and micro economics.

History
Agribusiness Management  Students Association was established in the University as a Campus Professional body in 2006 for students pursuing Agribusiness Management. Its aim is to create a bridge between the students and the professional word; enabling students to familiarize themselves with agribusiness related fields and opportunities before they are done with campus.

OBJECTIVES OF AMSA

  1. Provide a platform that links members with the corporate world.
  2. Create an avenue through which members can be advised on the best opportunities that exist in the market.
  3. Bring together agribusiness students together to ensure growth and development of all the members
  4. Assist members in identifying relevant and suitable internship and attachment opportunities
