Geospatial Engineering Students(1^st & 2^nd years ) had a chance to visit Survey of Kenya for an academic trip on Friday,25^th July,2014.It  took place between 2-4pm.The students had a chance to visit various sections of the institutions which include Land Survey section, Technical section, hydrographic section, GIS section, Cartographic section ,photogrammetry section and Photolithography section. The students were taken through the various sections by the staff members of the institution some of whom are the alumni of the department of Geospatial and Space technology, University of Nairobi were they were explained on the various activities that take place in each section. They were also challenged on the role they have to play as students in building/marketing the profession. On behalf of the department, the students were accompanied by Mr Erick Mwadongo (Patron GESA) and Mrs  Mary Gwena (Assistant lecturer).Geospatial Engineering Students Association would like to appreciate the students for maximum cooperation portrayed during the event and calling for them to turn with the same spirit even for future events organized by the association.   Article written by an official GESA.
