About Us

Nairobi University Microbiology and Biotechnology Students Association (NUMSA) is a students’ club founded through students’ initiative in 2009/10 academic year in the department of Botany and Zoology in the University of Nairobi. It is a club in the School of Biological Sciences, College of Biological and Physical Sciences under the umbrella of Chiromo Campus in the University of Nairobi.

MISSION:

To organize the microbiology students into an    effective group to promote student-faculty relations and to maintain a closer fellowship among all students interested in Microbiology.

OBJECTIVE:

  • Teamwork and team spirit

  • To help students in this field obtain information concerning future education, available scholarships and fellowships, and employment.
  • To develop the leadership abilities of its members.
