The Nairobi university Meteorological Association conducted an orientation program for its year one students on the 23rd of January 2014. The event took place at the Synoptic Laboratory in the Department of Meteorology. The program entailed introducing the new students into the department and the association. The continuing students helped the year one students with their online course registration and departmental familiarization. The students were addressed by the year representatives, secretary, treasurer, organizing secretary and chairperson to Nairobi University Meteorological Association. The event was also graced by professor Ng’ang’a, Prof Mutua and Dr Opere who is the Chairman of Department.
