Nairobi University Meteorological Association in conjunction with the office of the Dean School of Physical Sciences successfully held a career fair for the Meteorology and Physics students. The event took place at the School of Physical Sciences BoardRoonm from 2:00 P.M to 4:30 P.M . The career fair was graced by key speakers and they include Captain George Onyango from Kenya Airways, Mr.Isaac Njoroge from the kenya Civil Authority, Mr. Mbabu an air traffic controller and Ms. Susan Mureithi an air traffic controller both from Kenya Airport Authority. The career fair aimed at familiarizing the students to the profession and the available opportunity in the field. The different speakers encouraged the students to venture into the field and make the best of their courses. Also present was the dean school of Physical Sciences Prof Lydia Njenga, Acting Chairman department of Physics Dr. J. Boaz, Chairman department of Meteorology Dr Opere , Prof Ininda from the Department of Physics and the Director Malawi Meteorological Agency.
